Crochet and Weaving, a beautiful combination!

I'm loving this crocheted weaving technique! Simple but very effective.

I first learnt about this technique from the beautiful Jenny King Designs and her crocheted tartan throws. I made a love throw for a friend of mine who has Scottish heritage. I thoroughly enjoyed this technique and decided to have a go at designing something for myself. The weaving method is super easy and the throw grows really quickly which is a bonus.

This gorgeous blanket throw is destined for the UK now they are approaching winter. I've designed this pattern myself and have choosen modern contemporary colours. I have already started my next one!
