Hi,

I'll begin with letting you know that I'm a Blogg newbie. Well we all have to start somewhere, right? I'm constantly amazed at what a wonderful 'crafting' community there is out there.

I'm starting off by sending out a huge 'Thank you' to all the wonderful crafters and makers out there that have inspired me and continue to do so in my crafting journey.

I'm based in Australia and it's sometimes difficult to get my head around the seasons in the rest of world. While we are in a glorious summer a lot of places have freezing winters. Crazy :)

I'm currently working on some market tote bags. The current pattern I'm using is courtesy of mamainastitch.com (loving this lady). I've adapted the pattern slightly to suit my yarn and the size I like and am loving this bag. I used Lion Brand Hometown USA yarn which is machine washable and dryable. I love it.

It's great news that plastic bags are being phased out in supermarkets here in Australia. A sturdy tote bag might just come in very handy indeed for those shopping odds and ends.

I have a couple of other projects I'm working on and hope to share with you soon.

Thanks for stopping by, until next time :)
